FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Sharawaji Records is proud to announce that The Syndicate of Surf has joined the Sharawaji roster.
The debut recording, Studio Surf Styles Vol 1: Hodads Hang Ten! is being professionally mixed and mastered for release as a digital download in addition to a full retail release as a Limited Edition Digipack CD.
Hodads Hang Ten! answers the question of how surf music would have developed if the British Invasion had not so much wiped out surf music in the late 1960s, but melded with it in a glorious tidal wave of Silvertone powered rock n roll.

Attention Humans! In a giant step for Robot/human relations, Sharawaji Records is proud to announce that The Tsunamibots have joined the Sharawaji roster, forging an alliance to crush puny humans and enslave the human race.
The Tsunamibots said:
"after self releasing our two EP'S Rise of the Robots and Surfing Craze in the Robotic Age, we found our day to day obligations of crushing humans and polishing our transistors was suffering. Sharawaji Records is like a well oiled machine. They will be great servants...correction...partners in our quest for world domination."
"It feels like a logical approach to have a musical partnership with Sharawaji Records" says Tsunamibots guitarist Tomadore64. "Partnering with them is the natural next step for enslaving all humans."
Drummer The Master Circuit agrees "we don't like many humans, but the guys from Sharawaji will be spared from the crushing."
"..... besides our new label mates The Zillatones are shape shifting aliens from outer space. They will be great allies in operation enslave all humans."
Bassist The Main Frame concurs "0100000111...beep."
We've long been fans of the Tsunamibots, both for the music - a fusion of the Cylons from Battlestar Galactica meets DEVO, Misfits, Servotron and Man or Astroman?, and also the electrifying live act that has brought the surf punk trio to prominence on the North East American surf and scene.
The live performances at Unsteady Freddie's Surf Rock Shindig (Otto's Shrunken Head) demonstrate the high degree of interaction with fans that extends online through their Twitter and facebook pages. If you haven't already, follow your maniacal metal overlords now and you may be spared from crushing.
You can buy the first two EPs and find out more about Tsunamibots on their page, and buy merchandise directly from www.tsunamibots.com.

The Zillatones have a new updated website, www.thezillatones.com. You may be aware that Sharawaji has a partnership with an internet marketing company called GECKONET LTD. We are in the process of migrating and then updating all of our websites so that they have a fresh 2015 feel and can support the demands of site traffic.
Please have a look at The Zillatones website, and let us know what you think.
We have just heard our registered address / office provider changed address in March 2014 without telling us. Consequently we haven't been able to receive any of your mail or demos. The 2014 sampler is also delayed as a result, however it will definitely go ahead in early 2015.
In the interim, please do not use the London address, listed on the website and various places on the internet. We will update about the new address as soon as possible.
Sharawaji Records is very proud to announce the release of The Zillatones first EP, Planet Lantau. It's a sonic portrait of life on Lantau Island by HK's best rock band. First you travel back to the stone age like a VELOCIRAPTOR, and then after that you go to the beach to see nubile asian girls in the MISS MUI WO BIKINI CONTEST, and then after that you do the detective SURF 112 thing (because you ain't been caught stealin' nuthin'), followed by a walk up to CAT CORNER to see what those pesky felines are up to and then its time to go tot the ferry pier and see hordes of feral mainlanders rounded up in the FERAL CATTLE CALL before ending the evening in Lockhart road and stared at by girls using the seductive, but ever so lethal FILIPINA SEX-RAY.
